Speak easy, sound good

The Breathwork Masterclass to regulate stress & connect

  • Many professionals lose their impact because presentation stress hijacks their breathing. Your heart rate skyrockets, your voice trembles, and you lose that genuine connection with the room.

It doesn’t have to be that way.
Speaking with ease sounds like music to your ears, and your breath is the key.

Instant calm

About this webinar

Imagine stepping onto the stage or opening a meeting, and instead of that familiar rush of adrenaline, you feel completely grounded. Your voice is steady, your pacing is natural, and your audience is hooked from the very first second. Sounds like music to your ears, doesn’t it?

For me, this has never come naturally. Over the years, I have learned that nervousness often stems from a deeply rooted conviction—a message from within that says: Don’t do this. It’s dangerous to expose yourself!
Your rational mind may tell you there is no real danger. You know your subject, you are well prepared, and your audience is interested—or at least willing to listen. Yet your body may not respond to these reassuring thoughts. Instead, it reacts to a different message coming from another part of the brain.

I have been performing on stage as a professional classical musician for over 25 years. As a saxophonist, I was well aware of the fact that my breathing was not supposed to be just high in the chest, but I could not manage this right before my performance. I found the solution in the music, but it would have helped a lot if I knew then what I know now.

In this masterclass, I will provide an overview of the causes of presentation anxiety and practical ways to address them. My aim is to offer both insight and tools, enabling you to experiment with different approaches and discover how your own body and mind respond.

I hope to equip you with techniques that will increase not only your confidence, but also your enjoyment of connecting with people and sharing your knowledge. Just as I now enjoy standing in front of groups—as a musician, storyteller, and workshop leader.

Do I still sometimes hear that inner voice telling me I might not do well? Absolutely. And sometimes there is good reason to be nervous. Our gut feeling can pick up on things that our conscious mind has not yet noticed.
The difference is that I no longer let that voice determine what I do. I have learned how to listen to it, learn from it when needed, and move forward despite it.

You see, I am not a natural. And if I can learn to do this, so can you.

In this hands-on masterclass you’ll discover:

  • Practical breathing techniques to calm your nervous system
  • How your voice responds to tension
  • Simple tools for better breath support while speaking
  • Musical exercises to promote relaxation and confidence (no singing experience required!)

About Floor Wittink

Floor Wittink is a saxophonist, pianist, storyteller, and breath coach. In 2002, she obtained her Master’s degree in Classical Saxophone under the guidance of Johan van der Linden.

Throughout her career, Floor has performed in a wide variety of musical settings, ranging from chamber and symphonic music to musical theatre. Chamber music has always been a particular passion, but she has also enjoyed performing in projects with the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra and Holland Opera. From an early stage in her career, she was drawn to creating original productions that combine classical music with theatrical, social, and personal themes.

Currently, Floor performs the storytelling concert Misschien wisten zij alles (Perhaps They Knew Everything), in which she combines piano and saxophone playing with storytelling. This project has allowed her to reconnect with her love of the piano while further developing her skills as a storyteller.

Alongside her work as a performer, Floor is an experienced breath coach. As a saxophonist, she was challenged by the need to release tension and develop effective breath support. Although this did not come easily, it sparked a lifelong fascination with breathing, performance, and the connection between body and mind. Her search for answers led her to study breath coaching, integrating technical knowledge with emotional and physical well-being through breathwork.

Today, Floor develops online courses and offers workshops and individual coaching, helping singers, wind players, and speakers breathe more freely, perform with greater ease, and connect more confidently with their audience.
